It was a big task which the small OBTA committee took on when they volunteered to come up with a plan for a new website for Oberon.
That plan started in 2017 and the website went live a month or so ago.

The people of Oberon are invited to come along to the launch and join in the public viewing of OBTA's new website, which has been built and developed by Brijid Media of Bathurst.
OBTA president Helen Lowe said the aim for the site was to look appealing, to be easily mobile responsive and to be useful for residents as well as visitors to the area.
"That aim has been achieved and the committee of Jenn Capel, Col Roberts, Sue Roberts and Julie Stott are to be congratulated,” she said.
“The visual appeal of the site is obvious as soon as you click on visitoberon.com – the video previously commissioned by OBTA starts to roll in the background and many of the photos submitted for photography competitions are featured throughout different parts of the site.
“Website committee members and friends have also contributed some photos, so we are extremely grateful to all those who have helped make this website an attractive one to visit.”
