Because gatherings have been banned by the government due to coronavirus, the Oberon RSL Sub Branch is urging the community to honour the fallen from home on Saturday.
Sub branch secretary Neville Stapleton is reminding locals not to come to the sub branch at dawn for the usual service.
"There will be nothing happening there. There will be no service at all," he said.
"We are suggesting that all members of the community pay their respects by being in their front yards or driveways at 6am on Anzac Day.
"And people can hold a minute's silence in remembrance to all service personnel, past and present.
"The sub branch will attempt to broadcast the Last Post and Reveille as loud as we can across town.
"Members of the community may come and lay a wreath to pay their respects to all those who have served our country.
"We are just asking that you be mindful and keep your distance."
