OBERON High students were lucky enough to take part in the Life Choices program presented by Andrew Fisher from the Jesus Racing Team on Friday, October 18.

The year seven to 10 students listened with interest as Andrew spoke about his personal life challenges and the hardships he has encountered.

His heartfelt words conveyed a message to all students that life throws you many challenges but ultimately it is your choices that define you.

IN OTHER NEWS FROM OBERON HIGH:

Andrew spoke about many issues affecting the youth of today, including alcohol, drugs, driving, bullying and social media.

This seminar showed our students that while you can receive advice and support from many sources, you must make the right choice for you as the consequences are part of your life.

Students were particularly intrigued by the use of real life examples to show the potential consequences of choices you make in a number of contemporary issues.
