Students used their creativity to draw inspirational quotes with chalk on the basketball courts and the quote "It's OK not to be OK" was projected in bold writing on the walls for all students to appreciate and absorb.
The main goal of this activity was to convey to the rest of the school the importance of mental health.
The aim was to create a supportive environment and reiterate that there are many avenues of support that exist around Oberon High School for those experiencing issues relating to mental health.

Ancient Fair
OBERON High School's year seven students staged a grand Ancient Fair on Friday, September 20.
They started preparations in project periods where they created stalls with craft or replica ancient games, but continued at home by making some detailed costumes.
Congratulations to Indiana Boss-Walker on his impressive Roman centurion costume and Leah Cole and Sala Rounds for their sophisticated Egyptian queen costumes.
Selfies with a replica Roman helmet, ancient Egyptian skittles, cardboard shield making, and other activities were followed by a feast prepared by the students themselves, finished with hotcakes and honey provided by the staff.
