KATHY Sajowitz will be mayor for another year after she was re-elected unopposed to the position at Oberon Council's ordinary meeting on Tuesday.

Mark Kellam, who was absent from the meeting, was voted in as deputy mayor, replacing Kerry Gibbons.
The other two contenders for deputy mayor were Brenda Lyon and Clive McCarthy.
Cr Sajowitz was elected mayor of Oberon Council at an extraordinary meeting in July 2015 after the sudden death of mayor John McMahon.
Cr Sajowitz - who was first elected to Oberon Council in September 2012 - was elected mayor at the 2015 extraordinary meeting with four of the eight possible votes.
"Working as the mayor of Oberon will be a learning curve, but I believe I have the ability to do a good job, especially with such a great team working alongside me," she said at the time.
Cr Sajowitz was re-elected as mayor unopposed in September 2017.
Oberon voters will go to the polls for a council election in September next year.
