FIVE students from Oberon Public School represented the Bathurst District athletics team in Dubbo last Friday at the Western Area carnival.

Students were successful in gaining a place on the team after their performance at both school and district carnivals.
Each of the students had a fantastic time and achieved some outstanding results.
IN OTHER NEWS FROM OBERON PUBLIC:
Kallum Baxter and Jed Ryan are off to the state carnival which will be held at Homebush Stadium in November. Jed placed first in the 11 year 800m race and Kallum placed second in the senior 800m.
This is an outstanding achievement. Well done and good luck.
GRANDPARENTS' DAY
IT is grandparents' day at Oberon Public School this Thursday, September 19. The performance Positive Attitude will start at 11.30am and a sausage sizzle will follow.
