Type in OSRANDRA into YouTube and you can find the presentation made to council at the last meeting, February 19.
Straight after the presentation, a fellow resident said he knows of two people who recall SRC, the Social Research Centre, engaged and paid for by NSW Health, asking leading questions and trying to convince the survey participant that adding fluoride to our drinking water has health benefits. Amazingly, right in chambers a third person spoke up and said the same happened to him: he said SRC tried to influence his response.

A couple of days later, a fourth person wrote to OSR&RA saying SRC did a hard sell on him even though he lives out of town.
Council relied upon the SRC survey paid for by NSW Health, the very same authority which granted Oberon Council permission to install a fluoridation plant, to force fluoridation onto residents connected to the reticulated water supply (RWS), allowing out of town folks to decide what residents in town will drink.
SRC used twice as many respondents from out of town to arrive at the desired result.
OSR&RA believes SRC tried to influence and sway the 371 respondents, and perhaps others, to say yes to fluoride in Oberon.
Let us know if you also believe SRC tried to influence you through the phone poll. Support osrandra@gmail.com and send us an email.
