Ms Gavey will also be compering the young farmers’ challenge plus doing much, much more.
As well as being busy throughout the day, Ms Gavey has entered several sections of the cooking competitions.
Ms Gavey, from O'Connell, who accompanied her grandmother to shows for many years as she manned CWA stalls, will represent Oberon at the zone finals to be held in Mudgee next month.
Miss Showgirl co-ordinator, Kate Bird, said Ms Gavey is a young women acting as an ambassador and role model for the Oberon community.
