THE Australia Day ceremony in Oberon attracted more than 200 people to the Oberon Showground.
Guests enjoyed morning tea, live entertainment, games and quizzes.
The day also saw a number of Oberon residents recognised for their service to the community.
Two people who reside in Oberon became Australian citizens, while a long list of awards were also presented to people of all ages.
Australia Day Ambassador Justin Herald visited Oberon to help present the awards.
Mr Herald is the managing director of Customer Culture, one of Australia’s leading customer service and customer engagement training companies, as well as being the author of eight international bestselling books.
He is also regarded as one of Australia’s most sought-after speakers.
