Member for Bathurst Paul Toole recently announced the Oberon Show Society had secured $18,516 through the NSW Government’s 2018 Community Building Partnership Program.
Mr Toole said the NSW Government funds will deliver much-needed improvements to the showground.
“The old fence along Ross Street will now be able to be replaced with a six foot security mesh fence,” Mr Toole said.
“The NSW Government’s strong economic management ensures we are in a position to invest in these important local projects.
“This is fantastic news for the local show society which continues to do a great job as one of the major community organisations in the district and I look forward to seeing this project come to fruition.”
