Each year Australians pause at 11am on November 11 to commemorate the historic moment when the guns fell silent across Europe in 1918 after the Armistice had been signed, ending World War One.
The Oberon RSL Sub Branch will be hosting a Remembrance Day service at the Oberon War Memorial from 10.55am.
Visitors to the service will be required to sign in due to COVID-19 regulations.

Members of the Oberon Sub Branch will also be selling tokens this Friday and Saturday morning in the main street. They will also be for sale on Remembrance Day at the service.
O'Connell service
Residents are invited to commemorate on November 11 at O'Connell Valley Recreation Ground for a Remembrance Day service.
Assemble at 10.45am for an 11am service.
