A photo posted on social media of a Jenolan Caves Rural Fire Service vehicle shows the white stuff thick on the ground - and on the car.
It comes after a whiplash-inducing drop in temperatures across the region due to a strong cold front.
Oberon hit 18 degrees on Monday and is only going to get to seven degrees today and Bathurst also hit 18 degrees on Monday and is forecast to struggle to eight degrees today.
The Oberon and Bathurst region's last big snowfall was in early June, when it closed roads and created a number of photo opportunities on Mount Panorama.
