She made her first appearance on the small screen when Channel Seven officially announced the show's premiere date last month.
Currently working as an administration assistant, the 35-year-old said she applied to the show because she was "done with dating apps and jerks sliding into my DMs".
"I need a real, honest, hard-working, loving man," she said.
"Farmers generally possess the qualities I look for in a man."
Ms O'Sullivan, who lives in Victoria, said she is ready to find "the one".
"I think I had about five of my friends tag me in the post on Facebook every year, so I went and had a look at the trailer and thought why not give it a crack?" she said.
"Everyone around me is either married, engaged, pregnant, parents or even divorced and loved up again. I often wonder if I've been left on the shelf.
"I've never been more ready to find the love of my life."
Ms O'Sullivan said she chose Farmer Rob from the bunch because she likes funny guys.
"Laughter and banter are massive for me," she said.
"There was just so many good vibes from Farmer Rob, he was very down to earth and I don't know, I just felt so comfortable around him."
IN OTHER NEWS:
While she is the only one who knows how her on screen journey to find love ends, Ms O'Sullivan enjoyed her time on set.
"It was probably one of the rarest experiences I've had, but in a good way," she said.
"Not many people can say they've been on Farmer Wants A Wife, so I'm really lucky to have this opportunity."
Although she wasn't sure if she would share in viewing the first episode on Sunday, she was keen to get it out of the way.
"You never know how you're going to be perceived," she said.
"So once that first episode is done, I'll feel a lot better about it.
"I sort of do want to watch it on my own, but it's also a good excuse to be surrounded by loved ones and crack open a few beers, so I'll probably do that."
The premiere on July 4 at 7pm will end what has been a long hiatus for the show which was meant to air in February.
