ST Joseph's Primary School celebrated 200 Years of Catholic Education in Australia with a moving mass for Mary Help of Christians as well as a school photo and planting of an olive tree.

Christmas art workshop
TEN students from Stage 3 at St Joseph's recently attended an art workshop to prepare them for the Christmas Storytelling Art Competition.
It was an enjoyable and worthwhile experience with the children learning many new skills.
Many thanks to Mr and Mrs Brown for supporting the students on the day.
Welcome back
ST Joseph's Primary School has welcomed back Mrs Hayden from maternity leave.
Mrs Hayden will join Year 3 on a Wednesday.
We hope Mrs Hayden enjoyed her day as much as we all loved having her back.
KidsLit competition
CONGRATULATIONS to St Joseph's students Holly, Abel, Grace and Kayden who competed in the KidsLit Competition on Wednesday via zoom.
The Kids' Lit Quiz is an international literature competition where teams of four students work together to answer wide-ranging literary questions. The 4 students answered 100 questions arranged in ten categories.
They displayed an extensive knowledge of literature and thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity.
Athletics champs
OBERON Public School enjoyed a successful athletics carnival recently.
Some of the outstanding performers on the day were:
Senior girls: Champion, Zoe-Grayce Boss-Walker; runner up, Libby Taylor.
Senior boys: Champion, Archie Graham; runner up, Henry Humphries.
11 years girls: Champion, Emily Hill; runner up, Regan Shaw.
11 years boys: Champion, Joe Ryan; runner up, Levi Maloney.
Junior girls: Champion, Shania Kelly, runner up, Lilly Fitzpatrick.
Junior boys: Champion, Jimmy Ryan; runner up, Mason Christie-Johnston.

Recycled creations
STAGE 4 Visual Arts students at Oberon High School have been working on a recycling project.
They have been creating and demonstrating their learning about the importance of recycling and using recycled materials to make an invention to help clean up our environment.
