Port Adelaide's Scott Lycett has been referred directly to the AFL tribunal for a dangerous tackle in the Showdown that resulted in the ruckman being subjected to vicious online taunting.

Lycett is unable to accept a guilty plea for a rough conduct charge against Adelaide's Ned McHenry in the first quarter of the Power's 49-point victory over the Crows on Saturday night.
Match review officer Michael Christian classified the incident as careless conduct, severe impact and high contact after McHenry was concussed.
Lycett on Sunday uploaded some of the vile direct messages he received on social media, with one Instagram user telling him to "jump off a bridge".
"Footy is a physical game, but I ackowledge my tackle on Ned McHenry overstepped the mark...I truly hope he's ok," Lycett wrote.
"However, the abuse that has followed has been outrageous. People should take a breath and reflect before posting."
He is not the only player to be facing a suspension, with Gold Coast's Touk Miller able to accept a one-match ban for engaging in rough conduct against St Kilda's Nick Coffield.
If Miller is unable to overturn the ban, he would miss the Suns' QClash against the Brisbane Lions at Metricon Stadium on Saturday.
Greater Western Sydney forward Jeremy Finlayson has been offered a one-game ban for striking Essendon star Zach Merrett.
Finlayson was booked in the first quarter of the Giants' narrow win against the Bombers on Saturday, with the incident deemed intentional conduct, low impact and high contact.
Melbourne star Steven May and St Kilda trio Max King, Tim Membrey and Dan Butler have escaped with fines.
