At a recent meeting of the Hospital Auxiliary some exciting decisions were made in relation to a couple of proposed activities.

First, back by popular demand, will be a street stall to be held in the main street on March 26. Mark the date on your calendar to ensure that you do not forget. The street stalls have proved to be extremely popular so make sure you arrive early in order buy your special treats.

The date for the previously postponed Teddy Bears Picnic will now be at Oberon Common on Saturday, April 10 commencing at 11.30am. This is going to be a real family fun day where there will be a number of activities for children and their parents. Come along, enjoy a barbecue lunch and enjoy the games and fun.

The two new television sets purchased by the auxiliary have now arrived and much appreciated by patients.

Of course we are always looking for new members to help in the activities of the auxiliary. If you can spare a couple of hours on Friday, March 19 why not come along to the next meeting of the auxiliary at 1.30pm. Meetings are informal and followed by afternoon tea.
