
INNER Wheel members will hold a Christmas food stall, huge raffle and sausage sizzle outside Melita's Clippers, Oberon Street on Saturday, December 5 from 9am to 1pm. This is their only fundraiser this year. Please come along and have a chat and take home some beautiful homemade goodies. Funds will go towards supporting local schools, a school in Tanzania, cord blood research and other charities supporting women and young girls.

YOUTH COUNCIL
OBERON Youth Council and Oberon Council will hold a community drive-in movie night, showing Home Alone, on Saturday, December 5 at Oberon Showground from 8pm for an 8.30pm start. Cost is $5 per person (under five-year-olds free) and bookings are essential. Contact 6329 8156.
WORKING BEE
OBERON Tarana Heritage Railway working bee will start at 9am and finish at 3pm on Saturday, December 12. A couple of areas need fairly urgent attention - weed control, whipper-snipping and mowing. Track work will continue during the week.
OBERON LIBRARY
COVID-19 restrictions have relaxed a little, allowing patrons to increase their length of stay in Oberon Library and CTC from half an hour to two hours. Social distancing (1.5sqm) and the number of people allowed (10) on the premises, however, remain the same. Hand sanitising and contact tracing requirements also remain for those entering the facility.
COMMUNITY PANTRY
AFFORDABLE grocery items are available from Monday to Friday from 9am to 3pm at 163 Oberon Street for anyone on a Centrelink card and anyone in financial hardship.
