The EP features five of her own songs, recorded at The Vault Studios in Sydney with producer Sean Rudd.

Clancy said the EP would be available to download and stream across all online platforms.

"I'm really looking forward to being able to share my own collection of songs for the first time and can't wait to perform some EP release shows across the Central West in November and December which will be announced very soon."

Clancy started recording her EP at the end of 2019 and completed most of the recording process prior to COVID restrictions coming in to place back in March.

"Recording and releasing my own music has been a lifelong goal and I really wanted to make 2020 the year to make it happen," she said.

"In May I released my debut single, Get Lost, and accompanying music video which was filmed in Dubbo and on my sister's property outside of Gilgandra. It debuted at #1 on the iTunes Country Singles Chart which was very unexpected.

"On July 31, I released my second single, Heaven Can't Wait, which was really the song that compelled me to release my own music for the first time. It also shot to #1 on the iTunes Country Singles Chart following its release."

Clancy said the song was inspired by the experience of losing loved ones too soon.

"There's not many of us who haven't had to go through grief at some stage in our lives after losing a family member or friend and I wanted to capture those emotions that I felt others might relate to or gain comfort from in some way," she said.

"Filming the music video for Heaven Can't Wait was a really special project. We filmed most of the video in Oberon, Bathurst and Black Springs, not far from where I grew up.

"I wanted to share some of the special people who inspired the song and those that it now makes me think of. I'll be forever thankful to each of the families that contributed to make this song and video so special."
