Glen Murray had a good day with 29 points and was the winner of the 12-hole competition. Balls went to Mick McKechnie, Mark Mathews, Doug Collins, Anthony Borton, Barry Stubbs, Tim Arnison, Harold Lyme, Darren Gordon and Liam O'Hara.
The changeable spring weather came on Saturday with cloud and rain which was a deterrent for most of our golfers.
There were, however, 16 keen enough to brave the rain to play for the monthly medal and putting competition. Blake Miller was in good touch to have a round of 79/69 to win the day and monthly medal.
Barry Lang was the runner-up with 82/70, Barry also won the putting with 28 putts. Balls went to Luke Christie Johnston, Bart Fitzpatrick and Darren Gordon.
The lovely spring weather has made lots of work keeping the grass mown. We have been blessed with the assistance of volunteers driving some of the machines.
Due to the lush growth of the clover and some other board leaf weeds, the course was sprayed on Friday to help bring these under control. As this takes effect it will reduce the workload and make it easier to find balls.
Next week's golf will be a four ball Stableford and individual event sponsored by Lithgow Toyota.
