However, the stakes were high, with the winner of the day having the opportunity to take away a number of prizes. Nine hardy souls competed for the Monthly Medal, the Goodwill Plate and the Mabel Mackenzie Brooch. The round was also the fourth round of the Golf NSW Medal.
The winner of the Monthly Medal, the Goodwill Plate and the Mabel Mackenzie Brooch was Robyn Slattery, who showed she was up to the challenge of the harsh conditions. Robyn scored 74 nett, which was well ahead of everyone else.
In second place was Helen Toohill with 83 nett on a countback from Joan Graham. Robyn also won the putting competition with 31 putts. Next week will be the 18 hole Golf NSW two person ambrose with tee-off between 9.30 and 10am. Please organise your partner and play in this fun event.
