AT the start of the year, the Oberon Tigers' committee decided that, despite the impacts of COVID-19, we need to stay the course in giving back to the community and our supporters.

As well as running our annual Can Assist charity round on August 29, the club will dedicate a week to raise awareness about mental health and suicide prevention.
Too often rural communities have been touched by tragic events every year. Our own Tigers community has sadly experienced this in 2020.
On Tuesday, August 11, the Tigers will host a workshop run by the Mental Health Movement, founded by ex-NRL star Dan Hunt.
The Mental Health Movement aims to "promote a culture where it is OK not to be OK, and it's OK to ask for help".
Dan and fellow ex-NRL player Ashton Sims will deliver a workshop that is part of a blueprint developed by the Mental Health Movement.
The workshop will start at 6.30pm. See the Oberon Tigers senior and junior Facebook pages for venue details.
Thanks to Bowyer and Livermore for sponsoring this worthwhile workshop.
