The NSW Government is strongly encouraging NSW citizens to wear a mask in high-risk settings to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Wearing a face mask provides an additional physical barrier to protect the community and help reduce community transmission, the government says.
The government is urging people to continue to practise physical distancing, wash hands regularly and, for those who are unwell, to stay in and get tested.

All facilities across the Western NSW Local Health District (WNSWLHD) require staff, patients and visitors to wear face masks to enter hospitals and multi-purpose services.
