The Bureau of Meteorology had predicted the Central Tablelands was a chance of snow in the early hours and so it proved as a cold front moved through the region.
According to the Bureau of Meteorology, Friday's minimum temperature was -3.5 degrees and the day reached a maximum of only 8.3. Saturday was not much better, only reaching a cool 6.8 degrees.
For June 2020, Oberon recorded a total of 53mm of rain compared with the long-term average for the month of 77.9mm.
July's mean average of rainfall is 70.1mm, with a mean minimum of -0.3 and maximum of 8.8 degrees.
The forecast is for rain and warmer temperatures, reaching 10 degrees on Saturday and the same on Sunday.
