One of the actions is the formation of the Oberon Community Support Network.
Participants include representatives from local churches, Oberon Health Council, Meals on Wheels, Oberon Rotary and community organisations.
The aim is to ensure awareness of vulnerable people within the Oberon community who may need support during this challenging time.
The aim is to be aware that self-isolation can result in social isolation for some (not everyone has family support); ensure the community is aware of what assistance/support is available and direct at-risk residents to where this can be accessed; and to be aware of vulnerable people within the Oberon community who may need support.
