WHILE the clubhouse is quiet, golfers are missing out on the friendly chat and socialisation, but we are still getting good numbers on the course.

Thursday afternoon 12 hole social handicap attracted a good field of 22 golfers.
The attraction for the social comp is that you don't have to have a handicap and you don't have to be a skilled golfer to join in.
If you are sitting at home wondering how to fill in the afternoon, then you could well join the men and women on the course and swing a stick at the little round ball.
Dennis O'Connell was the leader on this Thursday with a handy score. Balls went to Don Miller, Bob Rickard, Mark Mathews, Adrian Haynes and Eric Whalan.
The highlight was a hole in one for Don Miller on the 17th par three.
Don has been playing golf for a good many years and this was his first hole in one.
On Saturday we played an 18 hole stableford event in wonderful conditions. The course is good and the sunshine was magnificent.
Anthony McGrath was on his game with a solid score of 36 points to win A grade. Darren Gordon was the runner-up with 35 points.
Ian Bendell hasn't been playing for long but showed he is no slouch. He had a good round for 37 points to win B grade and his playing partner Mark Clarebrough was runner-up (36 points).
Balls went to Andrew Yeo, Mick English, Gerry Lee, Luke Christie-Johnston, Don Miller, Hugh O'Neil, Wayne Sellers, Kath Mooney, Jen Capel and Scott Rowlandson.
There will be golf on Anzac Day Saturday and Monday. Both events will be stableford scoring.
A reminder to members with cart returning to the shed after golf, please use the bitumen road; we don't need multiple tracks across the ninth fairway.
The club continues to adhere to the rules on social distancing - that is, one person per cart, playing in pairs and no more than two in the Pro Shop.
Players mark their own cards and confirm their score with their partner. The flag stays in the cup at all times.
The kitchen continues to provide takeaway food.
We are endeavouring to provide a cart where possible for those in need.
