DUE to COVID-19, the Neighbourhood Centre at 12 Ross Street is now only open for the Centrelink kiosk. Call in Wednesday to Friday from 9am to 1pm. There is a self-service terminal to lodge or inquire on benefits payable and a scanner/fax for documents which need to be sent. The centre can still assist members of the community by phone on 6336 0909 or by email at oberon@binc.org.au

AFFORDABLE grocery items are available to anyone on a Centrelink card and anyone in financial hardship. Get the groceries from Monday to Friday from 9am to 3pm at 163 Oberon Street.
RECRUITMENT
OBERON Fire and Rescue is looking for more on-call firefighters. Applicants must be available to be on call, live close to the fire station, be fit and healthy and enjoy a challenge. Go to www.fire.nsw.gov.au/page.php?id=11 and search for Oberon.

SAVE WATER
LEVEL two water restrictions apply in Oberon. For residential gardens, fixed hoses and sprinklers connected to the Oberon reticulated water system are banned. Micro-sprays can be used for 15 minutes and handheld hoses for two hours every second day, outside the hours of 8am to 4pm, on odd or even days matching the house numbering system.
