POLICE say a 15-year-old boy required plastic surgery after being attacked by a dog at The Common.

Police say the teen was playing at The Common, on Edith Road, last Saturday, March 21 when the attack occurred at around 2pm to 2.30pm. He suffered serious facial injuries, including several lacerations requiring plastic surgery.
He was taken to Bathurst Base Hospital for treatment before being taken to Westmead Children's Hospital for further treatment.
Police are appealing for information from anyone who may have seen the incident or who may have seen a dog in the area around that time.
They are asked to contact Oberon Police on 6336 1000.
Bike accident
A 14-YEAR-OLD boy was riding a trail bike in the Essington State Forest at about 11.20am last Sunday, March 22 when he lost control of the motorcycle and was thrown over the handlebars, police say.
The rider was unconscious for a short time before emergency services arrived.
The boy was taken to Westmead Children's Hospital via helicopter suffering from neck pain and numerous abrasions.
