POLICE are appealing for CCTV or dashcam footage following an alleged ram raid in Oberon in the early hours on Tuesday.

Police say a white Toyota HiLux dual cab reversed into a business on Dart Street, Oberon at about 4.50am on Tuesday, smashing the doors off the hinges.
It is alleged that a short time later, the vehicle fled the location with five chainsaws to the value of more than $6000.
Officers attached to Chifley Police District attended and have begun an investigation.
"As inquiries continue, any witnesses who may have been in the area and have CCTV or dashcam footage are urged to come forward," a police spokesperson said.
