The festival will return with an array of activities in and around the region showcasing foraging, food and wine, and the natural attributes that make the Oberon region so unique.
The activities will include specialised foraging tours, secluded forest lunches, wine trails, four-wheel drive tag-along tours and workshops with experts sharing their skills and know-how on foraging in the forest.
Four-Wheel Drive Foraging Tours will be held on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday during April.
"For those new to foraging, there are an array of tours operating during our autumn months, generally starting around February/March each year and ending in May," a spokesperson said.
"You'll be treated to a great four-wheel drive trip to some of the more remote areas of the forests, where identification and foraging are at their best. There are itinerary options that allow you to forage, collect, photograph or cook up in the wild."

After many years working as a foraging educator for the catering industry, Diego Bonetto has established Wildfood Store, a marketplace for edible wild food.
The platform and registered company will offer farmers and people in regional NSW the opportunity to subsidise their income by harvesting desirable edible wild plants for Sydney's catering and restaurant industry.
