Melbourne Cup Day saw a group of members enjoy a get-together at the home of Jackie and Ashley Brazier.
Rosalie Pollock won the prestigious "fashion in the loungeroom" while Margaret Jones' hat was a one-off original.
As the hall was unavailable for last month's meeting, Bev and Michael O'Brien kindly offered their home and garden as a venue. Robin Toedter won the OGY with some beautiful tree peony blooms.
This month's meeting is on Monday, November 18 at the Uniting Church Hall at 10am. Bring in your OGY entry - the shopping voucher is worth winning.
Discussions will focus on organising the Christmas party and the proposed 2020 winter festival.
There is a lot to discuss with this exciting proposal with details to come at a later date. Hope you and your plants are all surviving the dry. I think we are luckier than most.
