The course was still damp from the rain that fell over the preceding days, in addition to the course watering, so there wasn't much run.
The winner of the stableford event was Lyn Prowse with 33 points. Joan Graham came in second with 31 points, on a countback from Yvonne Collins.
Nearest the pin was Robyn Stapleton in Division 1 and Marjorie Webb in Division 2. Round two of the Silver Salver was played yesterday with Joan Graham playing Lyn Prowse and Yvonne Collins playing Flo Spence.
Next week will be the final round of the Silver Salver and the Captain versus President 18 holes matchplay.
