An incredible amount of over $17,000 was raised for the cause. A healthy crowd turned up and the community opened their hearts and wallets to help tackle cancer. The junior and senior clubs were absolutely delighted with the day and evening, even though it was held on a Sunday night.
Both clubs combined to work tirelessly alongside Can Assist's Brenda Armstrong and her team of volunteers.

Through the generosity of the community and business houses, the junior teams were able to amass 70 lots consisting of goods, services and hampers to add to the Premier League's "Can Assist" special edition jersey auction. First National Bowyer and Livermore's Greg Ryan generously gave up his time as guest auctioneer.
Before the main game, the Tigers held a minute's silence to honour the memory of those who had lost their battle against cancer.
Children from the junior teams released balloons in the colours of both clubs.
