Snow in Oberon as freezing weekend kicks off | Videos

OBERON has woken to snow as a freezing weekend on the Central Tablelands begins.

Oberon is forecast to struggle to six degrees today and seven degrees tomorrow and snow, tending to rain, is possible both days.

Oberon Council says all roads in the Oberon local government area are closed due to the snow.

This includes O'Connell Road and Duckmaloi Road, according to council.

To Oberon's north, light snow has been reported in the CBD and suburbs of Bathurst.

Good falls have also been reported on the top of Mount Panorama, where some of the snow settled.

Snow has also been reported in Orange and Lithgow.
