On the morning of Monday, July 15, as I drove down the main street, there was at least half a car space between every car from the pedestrian crossing to the corner of Ross Street.
I am very surprised that the committee decided that parking spaces would be lost by marking the spaces. I cannot imagine how they could be!
OTHER RECENT LETTERS:
The people of Oberon do a great job parking between the lines in the car park at the back of IGA.
I'm sure that with guidelines in the main street, more spaces will be created and the angst of looking for a car park when cars are parked poorly will disappear.
