Organisers would like as many past and present residents of Black Springs and surrounding areas as possible to attend.
The project is to commemorate the bicentenary of Dr Charles Throsby’s expedition, through Black Springs, in 1819.
His dispatches to Governor Macquarie, remarking on the quality of land he crossed, subsequently led to the settlement of Black Springs.
