Member for Bathurst Paul Toole has announced a grant of $13,638 for improvements to the site, which offers some of the best views in the district.
He said the aim of the grant from the Stronger Country Communities Fund is to help improve accessibility and safety for visitors and tourists, especially those with disabilities and older people whose mobility may be impaired.
“Driving tours are a popular way for visitors and locals to see the picturesque landscapes we have to offer and the Rotary Lookout at Falls Hill has one of the best scenic views you could ask for,” Mr Toole said.
“Beautification works at the lookout will also help restore a sense of pride and ownership of the lookout for town residents and Rotary Club members and will also demonstrate this to visitors.”
Will also help restore a sense of pride and ownership.
Deputy Premier and Minister for Regional NSW John Barilaro said the rollout of the second round projects takes Stronger Country Communities funding to $300 million.
“The Regional Growth is employing local tradies, putting local suppliers to work and providing the right environment to operate regional businesses,” he said.
