Many students received pleasing results, with Band 6 (over 90 per cent) going to Baily Nielsen for primary industries and Crystal Jeffriess for senior science. Bailey Armstrong received an ATAR of 88.8.
These results complement the fact that many students have left school and gone directly into employment or further training.
Congratulations to all students.

That’s the ticket
IN continuing with Oberon High’s new PBL (Positive Behaviour for Learning) policy and the rewards of Benny’s Bucks, week nine saw all students who received Benny’s Bucks go into the draw for a free movie ticket.
Miss Marshall and Ms Hibbert drew one student’s name from Benny’s Bucks recipients for each house group and the winners were Abe Rowe (Abercrombie), Michael Mijovic (Tuglow) and Emily Roberts (Werong).
These individual rewards follow close on the heels of reward barbecues, which are for each house group as they reach a running total of 600 Benny’s Bucks.
The PBL team feel it is important to give students tangible rewards for the positive behaviour in addition to the sometimes unseen but more important benefits of a positive learning environment.
