STUDENTS from kindergarten to year six from Oberon Public School have headed off to the Oberon Pool Complex for two weeks of intensive swimming lessons with qualified staff from the school and the pool.

The students are taught relevant skills including water awareness, water confidence, stroke correction and swimming squad.
The Learn to Swim programs are vital for the safety and enjoyment of all children and allow them to participate in the many water activities available during the summer months.
DIVE-IN MOVIE
THERE’S a new date for the dive-in movie Moana.
It will now be screened on January 19 from 6pm. Cost is $5 per person and tickets are available at the Oberon Council Chambers.
You must bring a floatie or tube. Children 12 years and under must be accompanied by an adult.
The Oberon Pool is open Monday to Friday 7am-9am and 2pm-7pm. Weekends and school holidays, it’s open 10am-7pm.
