Brenda Lyon, past president of the club, accepted the citation from international president Ian Riseley on behalf of the members from assistant district governor Miles Hedge. Brenda gave thanks to the hard-working committee, especially Lin Boswell.
The biggest activity of the year was raising funds to purchase a reliable vehicle for James Baxter, who has muscular dystrophy. It has enabled him to become more mobile and he is now an active member of Rotary.
