What a lovely change from the last few weeks. No cold hands or feet to start out with.
With only four ladies left in the Silver Salver, the second round was played on September 19 and the two remaining ladies will “fight it out” on September 26. More news when it comes to hand.
The Division 1 winner of the stableford event was Wilma Artery with 32 points. Glennie McGrath was second on 31 points and Robyn Slattery third on 30 points. Nearest the pin was Lyn Prowse.
Division 2 winner was Flo Spence with 30 points. Elizabeth Pollock was second with 26 points and Helen Toohill third with 24 points. Nearest the pin was, you guessed it, Flo Spence.
Wednesday, September 26 is the final round of the Silver Salver and an 18-hole matchplay captain versus president event.
