FIFTEEN ladies played a stableford last week in less than ideal conditions. The wind blew and the air was icy. Nevertheless, the ladies soldiered on. The big machinery on the course, clearing away some dangerous trees, put a whole new meaning into “hazards”.

Division 1 winner was Lyn Prowse with 31 points. Second was Robyn Slattery with 30 points and third was Jenn Capel on a countback from a number of ladies with 27 points. Nearest the pin were both Robyn Slattery and Katie Graham, with not a millimetre between the balls on the green!
Division 2 winner was Vonda Voytilla with 35 points. Second was Colleen Saul with 32 points and third was Flo Spence with 26 points. Nearest the pin was Vonda.
The First National Bowyer and Livermore-sponsored quarterly pointscore competition was won by Robyn Slattery in Division 1 and Joan Sullivan in Division 2. Runner-up in Division 1 was Joan Graham and runner-up in Division 2 was Vonda Voytilla. The ladies are very grateful for First National’s continued support.
Next week will be a versus par event with the trophy provided by the club. Contrary to the program, the AGM will not be held.
