The team focused on a number of locations, including the Oberon Stock Route, Taralga, Shooters Hill, Black Springs, Wombeyan Caves, Yerranderie, Joorilands and Mount Werong areas.
Rural crime investigators teamed up with National Parks and Wildlife, Water NSW and the Department of Primary Industries' game licensing unit inspectors in a targeted operation addressing illegal hunting and trespassing.
In addition to targeted rural areas, police carried out patrols in the national parks and state forests with what they said was considerable success.
Numerous vehicles and people were searched over the weekend and over 300 breath tests were conducted, according to police.
Though the operation focused on illegal hunting and trespassing, police also addressed drug and alcohol related matters.
Police say a number of items were seized, including firearms, a prohibited weapon, prohibited drugs and hunting equipment - dog collars, knives and GPS equipment.
Twelve infringements were issued for unregistered dogs and dog-related offences, and two unregistered vehicles.
Three men will appear in Crookwell Local Court on July 19 after being charged, including a 47-year-old Oberon man who was detected in Taralga with what police say was a prohibited weapon.
Police say investigations are continuing in respect to other offences detected over the weekend, including hunting and possessing hunting equipment without a licence in a state forest and possessing a loaded firearm in a conservation area.
Overall, the rural crime investigators say they were received positively and thanked for their efforts.
Investigators also visited a number of landholders, gaining valuable information in relation to rural crime.
Police said these operations would be the norm from now on, not only through joint operations but also in one-off shifts targeting illegal hunting and trespassing.
