The stud, owned by Ian, Donna, Brayden and Lochie Gilmore, was triumphant in the White Suffolk section, gaining champion ram with a milk tooth woolly ram sired by Baringa Triumph and whose dam was supreme prime lamb dam at Sydney in 2014.
Baringa was most successful White Suffolk exhibitor, also gaining the sires progeny group.
The champion ram went on to place second in the interbreed judging - a great result, according to the Gilmores, given the age of the ram.
Baringa also exhibited Australian Whites at Sydney for the first time since 2013.
The stud won every age group ram class except the April/May class, in which the stud placed second and third.
Baringa was awarded champion Australian White ram with the youngest ram in the championship line-up, being only eight months old.
Judge James Frost described him as just what he was looking for: very correct with great muscling and a clean, soft skin.
Baringa was the most successful Australian White ram exhibitor, following on from the National Australian White Sheep Society show and sale at Dubbo in October where the stud achieved top sale price of $12,000.
Baringa also exhibited the champion ram at the National Show, Baringa 16A303 Weapon - who was the sire of this year’s champion at Sydney Royal.
