Mr Bird said Mr D’Arcy has been with the team for over three years and in that time has become an “integral part of the business”.
Mr Bird said Mr D’Arcy grew up in the Black Springs and Wisemans Creek area, so has a lot of local knowledge.
“We are so happy to have Sam in our business. He brings to us great enthusiasm and energy and is passionate about the area,” Mr Bird said.
"Sam is backed up by our large team which also includes Mary David, who has been in the Oberon real estate scene for over 20 years.
"As a previous owner of the business, Mary has a lifetime of experience in the Oberon real estate market and has been a great mentor for Sam."
Mr Bird said the business is lucky to “have such a good team of local passionate people with vast experience in the Oberon real estate market that can best serve our clients”.
"Sam, who is recently engaged to Ellie, is excited by the prospect of building his career in Oberon," he said.
Mr D'Arcy said he is looking forward to the challenge.
"Rural properties are always on the move, as are livestock sales,” he said.
"Oberon is a huge growth area with good productive agricultural properties and we are situated only a couple of hours from metropolitan areas such as Sydney and Canberra.
“Investors are looking over the mountains to relocate to the country.
"I love this area and the people; that's why I've settled here.
"It's good to be part of, and working with, a reputable organisation like Ray White Emms Mooney. I've learnt a lot, and I’m still learning, off Pat Bird, Ben Emms and Steve Mooney.
"We also have the the support of the Ray White Australia network, which is Australia's largest property franchise and fastest growing livestock agency in Australia.
"We are very lucky where we live and I'm very excited as to what the future brings for our town and surrounding areas.”
