SIXTEEN ladies played in a stableford competition last week in excellent conditions. The weather was cool and mild - perfect for golf. The fairways have grassed up a little, so there is less chance of running into trouble, and the greens are in great condition.

First in Division 1 was Jenn Capel with 35 points, second was Wilma Artery with 31 points and third was Lyn Prowse with 30 points, on a countback from Stella McGrath. Nearest the pin was Wilma.
First in Division 2 was Barbara Coleman with 31 points, on a countback from Alma Hotham. In third place was Elizabeth Pollock with 30 points. Nearest the pin was Marjorie Webb.
Next week is the annual fundraiser for breast cancer, where the ladies all wear pink. The game will be an 18-hole stableford which will be played with only three sticks.
Friends and non-golfers are invited to join in this fun day. Tee-off is at 9am. Come along for a fun round of golf and a social lunch afterwards.
