Once again, the school’s three sports house groups were vying for supremacy – Werong had won the swimming carnival the previous week and Abercrombie and Tuglow were out to turn the tables.
Teachers were pleased with way all the students participated and cheered on their fellow athletes to do their best.
Because the weather was so hot, a decision was made that long distance events will be held at a later date.
Some of the throwing events are also still to be contested, so at this stage an outright winner has not been named and results and details of records broken have not been finalised.
The next major sporting event for the whole school will be on Thursday, March 22 when Molong Central School visits Oberon for round one of the Rural Cup.
