However, after such long and devoted service, and for the last six plus years carrying out treasurer duties, Ros has decided to call it quits.
Ros came to Oberon, transferred for work, in 1965. Although she was moved a few more times she always returned to Oberon, eventually marrying Ron Brown and settling in Oberon. The committee wish Ros all the best in her retirement and thank her for her tireless work for Cobweb.
More changes are afoot for Cobweb as many would know that the building has been sold and will undergo renovations in the future. A meeting will be held to discuss the future of Cobweb Craft Shop in the Function Room, Robert Hooper Community Centre on Tuesday, January 30 at 4pm.
