Tyler Puzicha competed in the third round of the National Junior Track Series as part of the Western Region Academy of Sport (WRAS) team.

Puzicha picked up four podiums in her junior women’s 15 category, which elevated her to seventh overall in her category – an impressive effort given injury kept her from competing in the opening round of the series in Melbourne.

On day one in Brisbane, Puzicha took out the derby sprint final ahead of Balmoral Blue rider Isabelle Carnes.

The following day, Puzicha was third in the points race final, then a close second in the keirin final as she was beaten by the narrowest of margins by arch rival and former Bathurst rider Lucy Stewart.

However, Puzicha then took out another derby sprint final, this time holding off fellow WRAS rider Zara Fuller.

The series concludes at the Adelaide Super Drome on January 11-12.
