We’re unlikely to see any snow in the centre of town, but the bureau says falls are likely above 900m.
That means Oberon is likely to see at least a dusting of snow along with high areas like Fitzgeralds Mount to the west of Bathurst and Yetholme to the east.
But the snow might not be the only wild weather on Monday.
Bathurst can expect a maximum of just 10 degrees Celsius and there is a chance of rain, thunderstorms and hail.
The bureau says a cold front is approaching the Central Tablelands from the southwest.
“This front will affect western parts of the state during Sunday, extending through to the east early Monday accompanied by vigorous winds in most areas,” the bureau states.
“Following this, a high will strengthen over southeast Australia, promoting stable weather conditions during the middle part of the new week.”
