A good field joined Robyn and Bev in playing a versus par game. In pleasant conditions, with plenty of run on the course, Lyn Prowse won Division 1 with +6, Joan Graham was second with +4 and Jenn Capel third with +3 on a countback from Joan Sullivan. Joan won the nearest the pin.
Helen Toohill won Division 2 with +3, Kathy Mooney was second with -1 and Flo Spence was third on a very tight countback from Elizabeth Pollock. Bev Dale took the nearest the pin.
The comment was made early in the day that “plenty of run is not always a good thing!”. A number of the ladies experienced that familiar summer situation of “running into trouble”. With an extraordinary amount of run at the moment, finding balls is not always easy.
